ROB Camra left this review about Seymours Bar

This small bar was packed on my Saturday evening visit. The outside area was also full, in fact, there were more people outside than inside. Loud Indie music being played from a very good jukebox. There's the deepest sofa ever produced in the main bar, I could hardly get out of it once I'd sat down! There's one handpump serving Doom Bar, but as I couldn't see anyone else drinking it and it was very warm, I had an Estrella. On an evening where I'd passed loads of attractive, short skirted girls, it was noticeable that they weren't in evidence in here though.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Seymours Bar

Small music pub, with a compact bar and side lounge - both areas with mixed furniture and appropriate memorabilia. Perhaps the best spot, though, is the patio seating area with various tables out in St Werburgh's Churchyard. Features external loudspeakers playing some decent tunes, but quite loud so I'm surprised they don't get complaints. Wasn't really expecting any real ale, but found Doom Bar (£3.00) from one of two handpumps.

Alan Winfield left this review about Seymours Bar

Seymours Bar is situated in a nice location with a nice outside seating area which is shaded by some trees.
Once inside there is a smallish oblong shaped room with a small bar facing, the floor is tiled near the bar and bare boarded to the right, there is a large TV to the right which was showing the Commonwealth Games, the seating is normal tables and chairs and one leather settee, there was a very good juke box playing some decent music during my early Wednesday evening visit.
There were two pumps on the bar with one in use,i had a drink of Doom Bar which was a decent enough drink.
There is a very small seperate room to the left.
I was surprised how nice this bar was,i would be quite happy visiting this place again.
