E TA left this review about The Boot & Flogger
The Boot and Flogger is part pub, part wine bar, part restaurant and part club - and it does most of these things quite well. Its location - 5 minutes' walk from London Bridge Station - makes it an ideal place to have lunch in comfortable surroundings if arriving in Town that way. There are 2 main bar areas, decorated with wooden panelling and furnished with a mix of leather Chesterfields and wooden tables, and there is usually a liberal sprinkling of sand on the bare wooden floors to provide traction. Its one major fault is that there is no ale on tap, so bottled ale is the best way to go if you don't want to drink wine with your meal. Not cheap, so not ideally suited for a crawl but highly recommended for eating and entertaining.
