The Packet House has a small L shaped bar to the front left that support a standard keg range. In this bar area banquette seating with tables run along the front wall and there is a dartboard. A snug can be found to the left rear of the bar. In the right side of the pub is a much larger seating area with another dartboard that was being used for the Monday night Manchester darts league. Televisions are located throughout for showing football. The memorabilia on the walls made it in no doubt that this is a reds pub. During my visit on Monday there were two blokes smoking by the rear entrance to the car park. They were both wearing Man City tops, I secretly hoped that they were the away darts team!

Small pub on a very busy road junction. The main room and bar is L shaped, there's a small lounge behind the bar and a very large room with a pool table to the right. There's also a video juke box. Friendly, chatty locals and staff, if a bit sweary. Sadly there's no real ale here, so I had a half of fizz and a bit of a chat with the barmaid and continued on my crawl.
