Ian Mapp left this review about Seven Stars

Tough to know if this pub is still open from Internet based research. No review here. Whatpub last surveyed in 2016. Google has a handful of reviews, but I don't trust the open till midnight midweek opening hours.

Parked up, went walking and came back at 12:30pm on a Sunday lunch. My car is the only one in the car park. No sign of lights on but the door opens and thankfully, there is a bar at the end of a long corridor.

Large restaurant to the left - but I saw no evidence of food - either by smells, or menus. A broken jukebox, where the visible album is "now thats what I call music 1994" on display. Furniture in the bar is older than that.

A single handpull - Wye Valley Bitter - was better than I feared due to lack of turnover - but not a patch on how it can be.

I stayed for 30mins - with no ambient music to hide the awkwardness. Thankfully, one other punter did come in - diet coke - and put the football on the TV.

Can't see how this will continue. £5 for an hr will neither pay the wages or the heating.
