Komakino . left this review about The Bird in Hand Inn
An inn which seems to have grown into a hotel complex, but still retains a separate, functioning bar and restaurant, open to non-residents. This is a bare-boarded area with rendered walls, a wood-panelled bar against the facing wall and which offered Sharp's Doom Bar, Hook Norton Old Hooky and Cornish Cider Co. Lyonesse (the Old Hooky was served in a hi-ball glass). Food prices are on the steep side (Sunday roasts £16 a pop) and overhearing a conversation between locals and bar staff that David Beckham and Pam St Clement have been seen here (although not together I hasten to add) means this has more in common with the Chipping Norton set than the Witney lot.
