31/3/18:
After 3 failed coffee shop incarnations this has re-opened once again as a pub. Now called The Queens it has been extended out and has an upper balcony level. The pub is a single room with a large central solid table dominating the middle of the room. On either side are low tables and chairs plus a stage area to the right. Run by the same lot who used to have the Penny Farthing this is yet to be seen if it degenerates into what the Penny was like. As expected there is no real ale. Had rather loud annoying music being played on my Saturday afternoon visit.
