Revolution Cornerhouse (having now dropped the “Vodka” from its name is one of two (three if you count Revs De Cuba) Revolutions in the centre of Nottingham and the bigger of the two. Housed in one of the downstairs units of the Corner house. As you enter there is one very large oblong shaped room. The pub is open all day for food but I have only ever been in the evenings when the lights are dimmed very low so I have never really had a good look around. On the right hand side in front of the windows is the main seating are with comfy lounge chairs and tables while the centre of the room has some tall tables for resting drinks on while loitering. The back of the bar is the main dancefloor that gets the busiest and this is where the majority of the loud music comes from. I asked for a pint of bitter but was told they didn’t have any so I asked for a Guinness and was told they also don’t sell it so asked for a Half of Budvar and was amazingly told that I could only order 2/3 of a pint even though they have half point glasses which is quite frankly bo***ks. I ended up with a half of Peroni for me and my friend that came in at a super criminal £5.30!!!!! I was gobsmacked but to make matters even worse I saw a Guinness tap down the other end of the bar which really left a bad taste in my mouth! This is a typical late night bar with the typical late night bar crowd but the only thing I will say compared to a few years ago is they seem to have increased their already high prices quite a lot as the people in seemed to be a less of the dick head persuasion than the last time I remember (probably because they have been priced out) so at least it was better in that scenes. I suppose if this is your sort of thing you would really like it here bet the rubbish service, poor beer choice and criminal price tab mean I won’t be making a return visit here out of my own choosing.

This Revoultion is part of the corner house development,it has got the usuall metal tables and chairs outside which only catch the sun for a short time late afternoon.
Once inside the bar is a lot bigger than it looks like from the outside, there is a very large room that goes back quite a way, there is a long bar running down the right side which has a mosaic floor close to it,the seating is leather bench seating and normal tables and chairs, there is a large mirror and the left hand wall which makes the room look even bigger, for bussier times there is another bar at the rear of the room.
There were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was Tetley smooth rubbish which was £3.50 a pint and this was a really horrible drink.
I went in here because i had'nt been in here before but i car'nt see any reason for visiting this bar when there are better ones very close by.
