A large looking Holts pub. Multi-areas to sit and all served by a U-shaped bar. Traditional in style and pleasant enough. Real ale was Holts Bitter. It didn't seem as popular as the other two pubs on the road but I liked the most.

Seems a clean and tidy pub.Called in one Tuesday inbetween bus journeys and sampled an excellent pint of the Joseph Holt Black.

The Red Lion is a decent looking oldish pub.
Once inside the pub had a nice smart lounge where i had a drink, there was also a bar which was a bit more basic, the pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
I quite liked this pub.
