The College Farm is a new building adjacent to the A420 near the entrance to the Defence Academy near Shrivenham. It is one of the Two-For-One chain of pubs and is thus a cross between a Happy Eater and a JDW, an amalgam of the worst bits of each. It has a garden, large car park and children's play area. On entering at 10.07 pm we were told by an apathetic barman that he didn't want to serve us as "no-one's been in all night". The interior was characterless and bland and the lack of customers translated to lack of atmosphere. We didn't eat but have been told by friends that the food is OK and reasonable for the price, provided you like fast food. The Marstons Pedigree we did manage eventually to get was drinkable but nothing special. This is not a pub for drinkers, and its beer quality and location make it unworthy for inclusion in a crawl.
