Alan Winfield left this review about Railway

The Railway is situated at the bottom of a steepish hill if coming from the Cheadle direction, the pub is set sideways onto the main road.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room which is carpeted and had bench seating around the edge of the room, there is a TV to the left and a darts board to the rear left, background music was playing.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Caledonian Autum Red which was a decent enough drink, the other beers were Robinsons Dizzy Blonde and Bombardier.
I could see a pool table in a seperate room but this was for residents only.
This seemed like it was quite a posh upmarket pub at one time, but now seems a bit down at heel.
