Steve of N21 left this review about Fishguard Arms

The Fishguard Arms is one of the better looking pubs in the town of Haverfordwest. Somehow the pink exterior colour works and it has a good location overlooking the river and is a bit more welcoming than a lot of the establishments we walked past around the town.
Internally the thick stone walls are a feature and there is a comfy enough bar area and then a separate dining room section.
A good range of food is available, with meals ranging from bar snacks to a full a la carte menu. But we didn’t have a chance to try it as unfortunately we’d chosen to travel into Haverfordwest on a Monday evening, which is early closing and the place is deader than High Noon High Street on a quiet night and in keeping there is no food service on a Monday evening in the pub.
But at least it was open and it’s a Brains house with the usual range of ales and the SA was a good pint.
