Weatherboarded exterior with a large multi-roomed interior. Quite modern (1980’s) but done in a homely way with pub carpet, exposed stone walls, brown leather banquettes and discreet seafaring paraphernalia. Pool and darts room for the locals and a quiet pub in the main. An unlabelled Brains house with three cask which I initially thought might be excessive however all the beers over two visits were easily GBG quality - Rev James (NBSS 3.5), Marstons 61 Deep (3.5) and Bitter (4). A genial landlord in situ who was good with random drop-ins like us. I liked it here and it should be in the GBG.

I didn't notice the other pub in Broad Haven. The Galleon was my only planned stop in this seaside resort, with its particularly large and sandy beach.

The Galleon sits just across the street from the beach and enjoys nice views.

We arrived to find the landlord sat at a table near the bar. His drinking companion leapt up as soon as we arrived to get served first. The beer selection was exactly the same as in the review by Delboy 20 several weeks ago. I opted for the 61 Deep, but wasn't overawed by the selection.

A couple of ladies had arrived to dine and there was also a very wet dog, which had clearly been given a run out in the sea. The main bar is split into two or three distinct areas, whilst there is also a smaller room near the toilets, where darts can be played. A few more were sat outdoors in a small enclosed courtyard to the side of the pub.

Broad Haven is certainly worth the effort to get to. But don't make a special journey for the pub.

Much more of a pub feel than the Ocean up the road. Three beers on - 61 Deep, Rev James and Brains Bitter. I tried all of them and they were fine. We also ate here twice and the food was good.

A pleasant enough stone walled Brains pub at the Little Haven end of the village in a good position on the sea front. Internally two sections, a decent enough lounge area then an area set for dining.
There are three hand pumps on the bar including the usual SA and Brains and a third guest which I cannot remember what it was.
As usual there was an extensive food menu, but cannot comment on that as we did not stay to eat but just long enough for a quick pint, which was pleasant enough all be it a tad on the cold side.
