Old Boots left this review about The Pier Restaurant & Bakur Bar

Cafe and bar rather than a cafe-bar, the bar with a pool table, screen and machines is at the right hand end while the left is standard cafe. The bar is furnished with black leather sofas while the cafe is of course tables and chairs. Looking a bit like a posh portacabin it has a close up view of the ferry pier and across the loch. There’s also a large decked outside area with picnic benches. Real ale at £6.50 a pint is mentioned on the menu but I only saw a couple of T-Bars of usual suspects plus a couple of more unusual beers; from West, Wolfpack and Brew Toons.

Will Larter left this review about Bakur Bar

A typical harbour building with restaurant to the left and bar to the right, if entering by the front door, or you can enter the bar from the rear if that's your preference. There's a moderately sized bar counter at the end, with a few low black leather sofas and a pool table nearby. The restaurant, which has a good view if you're waiting for the ferry to arrive, is for those who are eating only - we were not allowed to take our beers through. Plus points: friendly service, a sizeable collection of single malts, and the beers (from the local Skye Brewery) were in good condition, but I wouldn't make a special trip for this one. It's handy for the ferry, or if you find yourself stuck in Uig overnight.
