Aqualung . left this review about Cherrybank Inn

This pub which is set on the outskirts of Perth has a most unusual layout with only the top half of it overlooking the main road. What Pub says it was originally a drovers pub so it must have been considerably extended over the years.
Today you have to descend some steps to access the upper part of the pub. This consists of a small area with something of a snug to the right and further on a lower bar area down a few steps that was mostly set out for dining. There is an extensive outside area.
There were five hand pumps which had a house beer called Findo's IPA, Harviestoun Bitter and Twisted & Schiehallion, Inveralmond Ossian and TT Landlord. I tried the Findo's and the Bitter and Twisted both of which were excellent and priced at £3.50, as are all the cask ales.
Given the general paucity of real ale in Scotland I thought this place was very good. It seemed a bit foody but I can live with that if there's a decent pint on offer. It's GBG 2018 listed.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cherrybank Inn

Initially looks like a traditional roadside pub but has a substantial recent extension to what becomes first-floor level at the back, with views over the small valley to the rear. There is still a cosy traditional bar in the older part of the building, but another (located down a few steps) has been thoroughly refurbished in the same smart modern style as the larger seating / dining area and terrace. Five real ales available: the 'house' Findo's (£3.50, served in an Eden Mill tulip glass), Landlord, Inveralmond Ossian and two from Harviestoun: Schiehallion and Bitter & Twisted. GBG listed.
