A village pub in dark red brick. It is food focused, but with plenty of beer available too: as well as the three beers in my photo they had Bass, with one hand pump vacant. I went for the Peak Ales Great Ridge, which was very good (NBSS 4). At the time of my visit it was pretty quiet, but they are now closed on Monday lunchtimes - see Facebook for updated opening times.
