Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Rising Sun Vaults

Two-bar locals pub, with the larger rear lounge hosting regular live music and karaoke events. Plain, semi-modern furniture, but all tidy enough. New(ish) narrow patio beer garden to one side. Slightly surprisingly, the TVs were all showing news rather than sport on my visit. I was also pleased to find one of the three handpumps in active use, albeit with Doom Bar (£3.50) being the beer in question.

Rising Sun Vaults is an end of terrace locals boozer with two bars. To the right is a thin sports bar, I didn’t go in but did spot a pool table and dartboard through the bar. The larger lounge bar to the left has music equipment set up on a small stage area adjacent to the entrance. I also spied a piano and a second dartboard on the rear wall. Televisions are located throughout, they were all off at midday on Saturday whilst some club dance music played. I found this a bit odd as I was the only customer under fifty, and a couple of the other customers were wearing flat caps. Karaoke is heavily advertised and there is regular live music.
The bar is stocked with a limited standard and premium keg range and there are three handpumps. Two of these were unused leaving Wychwood’s Hobgoblin as the lone ale option. I think I’ll leave this place to the locals in future.

Adequate pub. 1 real ale was on (Hobgoblin). A 2 room layout.

Once this was one of the most popular pubs in Crewe, since the roads were changed it lost its favour, but this one survived where as the 'Bell Vue' and 'The Vine' did not. Well worth a visit, especially if you are going to the retail park opposite. Does have real ale. Boddingtons is at least now brewed once again back in Manchester by Hydes.

The Rising Sun is a good walk from the town centre and this pub looks pretty ordinary from the outside,it used to be a Boddingtons tied house and sold a decent pint.
On this visit the pub was fairy comfortable inside but there were no real ales on the bar with the only bitter being Boddingtons cream rubbish so i had a Guinness which was quite nice.
