Soup Dragon left this review about The Kinloch Hotel

A small, plain, white rendered side annex to the main part of the Best Western hotel, which is also in white. The hotel has an older core than it appears. It is overlooking the bay, it has a bus terminus outside and a nice beer garden area.

The interior has a central serving bar that services both the bar room and the restaurant the other side. The bar has a raised area and is in white and wood panel, with wood ceiling and stone floor. There is also a stone fireplace and red chimney brest. Old photos and cartoon adorn the walls. Food can be obtained for non-residents in the restaurant, but I didn’t eat so can’t comment on that. The bar has both a pool table and dart board. Old barrels are used for tables and the TV had a music channel on, which was at a decent level. The service was very friendly and there was one other guy in – most were outside, even those eating.

Beer; usual keg stuff, with Belhaven Best and St Andrews Ale, along with Belhaven’s Golden Bay on handpull – which was fine.

A perfectly acceptable little bar, with pub games and real ale. More than happy to stop off here again.
