Despite having no music playing and the TV volume muted, this was extremely noisy, busy and boisterous on the Saturday night of my visit. Obviously a very popular pub, it consists of an attractive looking little bar with a similar, slightly plusher, lounge adjacent, both with a good mix of elderly, middle-aged and youthful customers. There is also a games room at the back, containing a pool table etc. A pint of Tennent’s lager cost me £2.90 and Carling lager, Belhaven Best, Tartan Special and McEwan’s 60 Shilling are also on draught.
