Steve C left this review about Punch Bowl

The Punchbowl has seating rooms to the left and right of the entrance where the tiled floor runs up to the L-shaped bar counter on the rear wall. There’s more seating to the left and I heard rumours of a pool table. Televisions showing Accrington Stanley v Bolton were being avidly watched by most of the other customers. The service was polite, but only standard keg was available. This is an OK pub, but I didn’t really get why it was so much busier than its peers.

A fairly average multi-roomed pub. There are 4 rooms with 2 opposite the bar, one of which has a pool table. The pub is traditional in style. One unused handpump on the bar. No real ale.

This is a quite smart multi roomed pub that looks like it may have been refurbished recently. There's a pool room to the left where 3 kids aged about 8 - 10 were playing unsupervised!! There's a very nicely done back room with a massive TV screen and an outside terrace. There's no real ale though and a half of Carlsberg was only 99p. This pub should be so much better than it is.
