This place is situated next door to the end of the line from Queen Street Low Level. It's a large tourist orientated Inn with accommodation, food (including breakfast) and a separate restaurant that I didn't check out. There are outdoor areas for when it's not raining. The bar area is a large modern open plan room that is divided into areas. Most of the seating is tall but there are some low tables and chairs.
The bar has three hand pumps which on my visit just had Loch Lomond Southern Summit (£4.30) which seemed expensive to a Sassenach but after coming up lively was in good nick. Given the lack of quality cask ale in these parts this one is worth a try.

Very large and very modern, with lots of glass and light wood. Emphasis on food but keeps interest in beer with several good ales (including from Loch Fyne at time of visit) and things like 'Meet the Brewer' events. Only shadow is that the owning company went bust in early 2015 so remains to be seen what happens in the future.

Another pub to be recommended. My previous visit was 26 August 2012 where I took 3 photos. Most recent where I took photos of all the pubs & hotels, including the Tullie, was 22 June 2014.

A huge pub, right next to Balloch station and near the marina at the south end of Loch Lomond. It is largely food orientated, but has a good selection of beers too. Beer gardens at the front, side and rear mean that there is as much seating outside as in. Architecturally, it’s unusual for a Scottish pub and looks more like an inn you might find in Switzerland.
