Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Old Steps
Funny little place, located in a townhouse basement down the eponymous steps. Basic furniture and limited decor. A couple of lively groups in on the night I visited, but all very good natured. Two of three handpumps in use, with Copper Dragon Golden Pippin and Leeds Pale (£3.00) available.

ROB Camra left this review about Old Steps
A few years ago when I worked in Leeds this was my after work pub as I used to work across the road from it. At the time it only sold Black Sheep on handpump.
On Friday nothing much had changed except it now has two handpumps serving Leeds Best & Pale. You reach the bar down a number of iron steps. Once inside you're in a small room with a few tables and settles with not much room for anything else. It probably fits about 40 people at most. I would have said that there were about 39 in by the time we left :-)) Popular with groups from the nearby offices and as we were there at 5:30 on Friday this is what we got. It was still easy to get served though and the pint of Leeds Pale I had was in good condition. I'm pleased to see that it's still going strong. It's a good little bar.
