E TA left this review about Manor Hotel

A modern (1980s possibly, although the artex ceiling has a 1970s feel to it) brick-built hotel with a public bar on the main road into Gosport. Lots of timber cladding and wooden furniture inside, red brick, ivy and leaded windows, all of which perfectly fails to give it a rustic feel, although there is a hint of the Germanic about it. The standard food menu is inexpensive and looks good, and there are regular specials such as curry nights. The floors have a mix of parquet and carpet, and there is assorted bric-a-brac scattered around the walls. There is outside seating to the front and a large carpark to the side. The clientele are a mix of locals and hotel guests, the latter mostly travelling businessmen; Gosport Business Centre is nearby. There were 3 ales on - I had a pint of Pegasus which was in ok condition but not stunning. The wine list was unimaginative but again was not expensive. I'd be happy to stay here for B&B, have lunch if working nearby and would pop in for a pint if passing.
