Ian Mapp left this review about Broomhall Hutt

There is a distinct lack of pubs in the area. At first, I couldn't even locate one close to the station.

Gastro pub - at first, I thought I was going to have to have a Doom Bar - commanding the eyeline amongst the continental lagers. However, closer inspection showed a Rebellion IPA lurking in the corner.

Alway unsure of the quality in what is presumably a low turn over real ale pub but the generous sample showed perfect condition. Pint ordered and delivered in rebellion branded chalice.

Exceeded expectations. Bar staff friendly too.

Quinno _ left this review about Sunningdale Lounge

Has been through some changes since my visit 8 years back but essentially it’s still a heavily knocked-through interior, modernised to within an inch of its life. White, silver and grey shades with the barmaid rolling out what looked like being a roped-off area for the evening. Doom Bar and a surprisingly drinkable Pride which was a bit less in price than I expected to pay, based on previous experience. Live music on Thursdays. All a bit ‘so what’, really but better than Chatts anyway.

Jan 2007 [reviewed as the Chatts incarnation]
Looks olde worlde from the outside however it’s a massively overpriced and sterile bar (a half of a very poor quality Pride tonight was £1.65!!!), which thinks it's in Ascot serving the squawking classes after race day. Get fit and take the 15 minute scenic walk to the rather superior and more comfy surrounds of the Nags Head, where the beer is better and the prices far more reasonable. Avoid here like the plague, unless you burn money like the KLF. Rated 2

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Sunningdale Lounge

Looks traditional enough from the front, but the interior has been refurbished with modern furniture and decor. The opened-up layout comprises a formal dining area and a curiously empty lounge (perhaps used for live music?) on either side of the staple-shaped bar. Two handpumps offering Pride and a decent pint of Courage Best (rather cheaper than I expected for the area at £3.10). Close to the station.
