The New Inn used to be a kimberley tied house but it is now a Greene King house.
This pub is in the middle of Long Eaton and backs onto the new market that has now moved back to its original location on the market place.
This pub has'nt been altered in years and still has seperate rooms which dont seem to have been decorated for a long time but i quite like this pub.
Whenever i go into this pub i go in the left hand door and this room is fairly small with a small bar there are usually two real ales on with the beers coming from the GK range.
I think this pub is worth a visit as it is now one of the few Long Eaton pubs that has'nt been altered.

Revisited the New Inn very recently.

The New Inn has now been done up,the pub has been opened out into a single room but with three distint areas, the drinking area is now T shaped with the bar in the middle area facing inwards, there is a pool tables opposite the bar, there are comfy red laether bench seats in the area, there are two other oblong shaped areas either side of the bar,i sat in the one to the left which had the same
red leather bench seating, there was a TV on in this area showing live football.
The pub was very busy with a good mix of customers in on my Saturday dinner visit.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Ruddles Best which was a decent drink and also cheap at £2.40 a pint, the other beer was GK Abbot.

Town pub mainly for the younger locals. Just off the high street, it consists of a long bar loosely divided into three separate drinking areas. There is a mixture of seating, the floors are carpeted, tv screens at both ends show sports, and the furniture is mostly plastic. The staff are very pleasant, the locals normal people (although maybe a bit loud) and the ambiance is friendly enough. The main irritation is the lighting which has the air of a Dutch night club but without the class. Free wifi is available. There is an outside drinking/smoking area which adjoins the town centre car park and is complemented by the rubbish bins. Two ales on: I had Morlands Bitter which was in reasonable condition. OK to drop in for a quick pint, and OK if you want to watch the sports matches.
