Old Boots left this review about The Greyhound Inn

A pleasant village pub-restaurant with B&B, the main bar to the left on entering from the carpark is traditionally furmished with wooden furniture of tables with chairs and bench seating. Decorated in true pub style with some brassware and china, most on the emphemera on the walls relates to Hornby Castle the nearby big house and estate. There is also a large bottle collection round the plate rack, an ancient infantry rifle rather than the more usual shotgun and a wood burning stove with a gargoyle lurking underneath. The four handpumps serve the local favourites from Theakstons and Black Sheep plus at least one guest - a jolly good Castle Rock Harvest Pale in this case, the fourth pump was blank but there was a fine collection of pump clips, mainly from Yorkshire breweries but also from Thwaites and Marstons, behind the bar. Single fonts of Cider, Carling and Peroni plus a wobbly Guinness machine cater for the keg drinker. Games are provided by darts and shove ha'penny boards, there is also a big soppy dog. In addition to the main bar there is a small sitting room and a dining room but these may by for paying guests.
