Re-opened as table 8 with a fresh coat of paint (not the devil red above) and a revised interior layout. I was in for food just before Christmas and everything was excellent. Still not really a pub, but worth popping in for some decent food in Beeston.

The Library is a short walk from the middle of Beeston.
Once inside there was a very small bar facing with only four draught drinks on all served from one font,i asked the bar lady if it was ok to just have a drink in here and she said no problem anyone can have a drink in here.
There was only one room and this ran across the front of the pub the main area was to the left of the bar this had bare boards and chunky wood tables with unusuall stools that wer'nt tall but not small, but these seemed quite comfortable.
There were no real ales on the bar and the keg bitter was Worthington Cream flow which was a pretty poor drink.
The pub does food and there were a few customers dining on my dinnertime visit.
This looks quite a nice place to go out with friends for drinks and something to eat but it is not really a place to just drink in.

Not actually a pub, this little place is a Spanish tapas inspired Restaurant. The last time I was in the food and wine was great but the beer is over chilled green King IPA. I have always been here to eat and I'm not sure if you can (or would want to) drop in for a beer, especially with better watering holes in the locality. If you go to eat, try the excellent fish & chips or any of the tapas dishes. I am only giving this place a 5 as it isn't a pub, food is great though.
