Alan Winfield left this review about Nags Head

The Nags Head is situated in the middle of Kirkby in Ashfield and is on the opposite corner to the Regent Spoons.
When i first did this pub it had two separate rooms and was a Whitbread tied house with no real ales on the bar.

Once inside the pub now has a fairly large single room with the bar facing, the left side has tall tables and chairs and a pool table to the rear, the right side is more comfy with normal tables and chairs to the front and comfy bench seating to the rear.
There were two unclipped pumps on the bar,so it was a drink of keg Tetley Mild which was not too bad a drink, the keg bitter was Tetley smooth flow.
There is a TV to the right which was not on and there was no background music.
