HU 13 Kitchen and Bar is more restaurant than bar, but I was made to feel welcome even though I had only popped in for a quick pint. For most of my visit on Wednesday evening last week I was the only customer as loud music was emitted from the speakers. I didn’t spot any televisions so I think that this is the only place in the village that one can escape televised football. Along the exterior of this bar is decking that supports seating, some of which can be covered by umbrellas.
The only two draught products were Becks and Budweiser, but a range of bottled beer was available. I didn’t see a food menu during my visit as the kitchen was closed, but I did spot a cocktail menu. I found the service to be very friendly, but this place is expensive in relation to its peers. I saw nothing here that would have me rushing back anytime soon.
N.B. was previously the Weir Bar and Grill.

Very surprising ultra-modern bar for the area, but still no real ale. No doubt ok if you like that sort of thing.

This is more a bar than a pub it has a modern decor inside and does plenty of food there are no real ales here only Worthington fizz it would be quite nice if you can grab one of the few tables outside at the front.
