Malden man left this review about Spinner & Bergamot

Apparently the building dates from 1746 well the main part anyway. Originally The Spinner and an early owner named a racehorse after the pub. The current name with the added Bergamot is also related to another racehorse. Several areas inside, the original rooms have beamed ceilings with two rooms being carpeted and the public bar tiled. Dogs are welcomed in here and snacks and water are provided. To the side is an add-on single storey bit which is effectively a restaurant, a vaulted ceiling in here. Log fires, not needed on a warm and muggy afternoon, we visited for food and it didn't disappoint. There is a nowadays a rare bowling green behind with floodlights plus a good sized car park.
Robinson's beers, they had Unicorn, Dizzy Blonde, Wizard, and Double Hop on. The pumps are split between two areas so it might be wise to walk through before choosing. Not a pub for a big session as it is a bit remote so needs a car really but a decent spot for a nice meal and a pint or two.
