This is a very nice inter-war estate pub with a beer garden at the front, and what look to me like original interior features, including the bar counter (with twisted iron foot-rail), shelves and bar back (see photo), and I would guess the fireplace too. The big fan stood on the counter is obviously a modern improvement. The two hand pumps had Tetleys and Wainwright pump clips, but both were off, so I asked for a half of Theakstons Dark, a smooth keg mild. The friendly and welcoming lass behind the bar had a torrid time getting rid of loads of froth before my half manifested itself as a drinkable liquid. I felt almost guilty for requesting it.

This is a decent pub that seems unaltered inside it had Tetley Dark Mild on handpump and was very nice there are picnic tables outside not a bad pub to go in for a few.
