A rather pretentious and shoddy former shop which titles itself a wine bar but is actually just a low-rent night club with lots of large TV screens showing sports matches. No function room as such, but the whole bar can be hired for private parties. There is a small, private garden at the back which also has a TV screen and a barbecue stand. Normally free to enter, they do charge however when there is a live act or DJ present to entertain the hard-of-thinking. No real ale, just the usual tired selection of tasteless fluid you might find in a continental high street bar. Tacky décor, but the staff were at least friendly. Not somewhere I'd chose to come back to.
