Old Boots left this review about The Dunsforth

Looking for all the world like a large detached brick house, it was closed for a while before an extensive renovation and reopening as a dining pub complete with a change of name from the more down to earth Angler's Inn. It still functions in some ways as a village pub but the large rear dining room and the toilets for Stallions and Fillies give the game away. The two front rooms are more suited to casual drinking although are dual purpose as dining definitely comes first here, I was one of only three people not eating in a packed pub. Decor is in the traditional pub colour scheme of cream and claret with a nice flag floor, alcoholic wallpaper and some old photos of a pub and prints of dogs. Furnishing is a mix of old and new. Three handpumps grace the small counter which is easy to crowd with bar-blockers, Adnams Ghost Ship and a reasonable Theakstons Best were on offer, the T-bar choice was of three lagers and a keg cider, presumably they sell more wine than all the beers put together.
