Quinno _ left this review about Swanny's

A terrifically local’s local, conjuring a din on a Tuesday afternoon that most pubs would struggle to summon-up on a Friday evening. A single wedge-shaped room, a third of which is taken up by a sun-bleached pool table. This pub is in the CAMRA Heritage Inventory but I’m not really sure why - the carved wood bar and back possibly excepted but these are hardly looked rare or unique. Obviously no cask here so a decent Tennents did for me. Assumed I might get the stares from the locals but I was quite happily left to my own devices at the bar.

Has been The Admiralty Bar, The Swan Inn & Swanney’s Bar in previous lives. Now serving the east European community with polish beers in the chill cabinet & a Czech beer on keg.
