Roadside pub that’s firmly in the grub and accommodation market after what feels like a fairly recent refurbishment, the bar itself is fairly small and was sparsely populated, with most people dining in the separate room. We ate here and it was pretty decent fayre. Black Sheep and Sharps Atlantic were the two ales, with the latter drinking very well. The accommodation is also pretty good. 6.5

The Coach House is a smallish pub that is on a very busy road.
There was one L shaped room inside and this had a stone floor there were three real ales on here i had a drink of Ufford Ales Ruperts Wardog and this was a decent drink the other beers were Adnams bitter and GK IPA.
The pub was quite busy mid saturday afternoon.

Originally the Half-Way House until about 8years ago, this pub was bought and without losing its character totally transformed into an excellent hostelry. House ales are Adnams and IPA with guest ales such as Timothy Taylors with Aspalls Cider on draught. All well kept. They have a good selection of house wines + a good wine list. On top of all this it is also a great place to eat, with both bar menu and the Ostler restaurant menu containing only quality, fresh ingredients mostly obtained locally. Expertly prepared, cooked and presented. I don't usually "do" chips but theirs are the best!
