Can't really add to the description below. I ordered a Coors which was ….. well, Coors!
I did notice that they had Belhaven Best as I was leaving.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about JK's

Formerly Bar 77, this 'L'-shaped bar has been stripped of decor to leave bare-brick walls and is sparsely decorated with plain semi-modern furniture. With daily karaoke advertised it was a surprise to have a horse-racing radio programme being played. A patio garden (with a side entrance) can also been found at the back. There is some discreet Greene King signage on the façade, but it was no surprise to find neither of the handpumps working. Had a quick East Coast IPA (£1.35, half), the best choice from the keg offerings, before moving swiftly on.

Soup Dragon left this review about Bar 77

A terraced unrendered brick build, with a nice decorative entrance and patio, in Cannock town centre, formerly Yates's

The interior is open plan, the room bending around the large bar. The decor is red and white, with red seats, covered a bit like the old bus ones. The wasn't much in the way of pictures and ephemera, leaving the place looking bare. The main interest was supplied by the music channel TVs dotted about, showing what would be described as younger based music. The service was fine, the clientele were those that would appreciate the music.

Beer; all tap stuff, with amazingly, Hardy & Hanson's dark MILD - which was freezing (as it usually is - not having a dig at the place here), but at least is different.

I am sure the young 'uns will like it, not my thing though
