Will Larter left this review about The Lamb Inn
A two roomed cottage-style pub, with an extension to the side for the toilets - that's how small it is. The left hand room had three hand pumps and we could see two more on the bar counter in the room to the right, though we didn't explore there as there was a group of locals with a large dog - the sort of dog that the owners feel the need to explain that he's quite friendly really.
The beers available on our side of the bar were Timothy Taylor Landlord, Abbeydale Moonshine and Greene King Yardbird. My notes made at the time describe the beer as "undistinguished"; since they are all different beers, I presume that I intended to indicate a lack of flavour or condition to make them worthy of note. Or perhaps I was just in a grumpy mood: the comment "poor quality background music" tends to support the latter.
