This place was clearly originally built as a pub judging by the external architecture, but there’s now nothing inside of heritage interest. It’s now an Irish bar of course, with all manner of Irish memorabilia inside such as a framed print of Croke Park and license plates bearing the names of Irish counties on the walls. The front end of the room is carpeted; the extended rear is bare-boarded, and furnishings are a mix of normal tables and chairs and red upholstered banquettes. There were TVs on, one inevitably showing the horse racing.
There’s no real ale obviously, with John smith’s and bogstandard lagers at £3 a pint. I didn’t notice the Guinness price advertised. No sign of food or menus. These real Irish pubs do have a certain basic charm to them – shame there’s no real ale.

Mc Glynne's Bar is a nice looking pub that is a short walk from kilburn high road.
Once inside there is a decent sized single room which is iregular in shape,the bar is to the front right,this area was carpeted,the rear area was bare boarded,the seating was bench type around the edge of the room.
There were no real ales on here,i had a drink of John Smiths Extra Cold Crap which lived up to its name.
There were a few locals in on my Thursday dinner visit,this is a decent enough pub but was let down badly by the lack of one real ale on the bar.

My first visit to this pub was when the chairman of the Middlesex County Dart Team did a 24 hour dart-a-thon and this was only possible as a dart crazy governor runs this place and there are some very relaxed closing times. Along with the dartboards at the front and rear of the pub there are also three large TV screens that show sports on Sky and GAA as this is an Irish pub. Unfortunately the screens are never turned off so one screen will have Eastenders and another will have VH1 classic.
There is a small area with four or five tables at the side of the pub that is railed off from the street and there are also some more tables out the front. A bouncer is present during weekend nights to stop undesirables entering and to help the drunken locals to leave, but I had a chat with him and he was a friendly enough guy.
I like this place as I’m a darts fan, but I wouldn’t recommend to people looking for a good night on the town.
