Large building on the main road by the station. It’s a multi-area'd place that has been blandly modernised in the recent past and the interior contains little of comment. However the garden has a great view of the castle. Absolutely rammed, the (temporary?) closure of its only rival down the street meant that everyone was here. Mildly surprised to encounter two ales from Llyn plus one of their kegs in addition. No complaints on the quality of my cask (NBSS 3.5). Not a place to get excited about but the good quality of the local ale and the view of the castle means it’s worth popping in. 6.5

Now serving Real Ale from two handpumps shown on their Facebook page, and saw it served on TV to the presenter of a railway program who alighted at Harlech for a pint in the pub!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Queens Hotel
Friendly pub adjacent to Harlech railway station, but badly let down by having no real ale on when I visited. Had to make do with a pint of Brains Smooth.
