Large pub popular with the younger crowd. 1 beer on when I called which was ok. Sky sports and pool table. Handy for the train station.

A cream rendered detached pub with black paintwork around some Romanesque windows that have stained glass. Also has a patio.

The interior is, as ROB says, the opposite. It is an L-shape around the bar with a DJ area to the left of the main door, a pool and darts area in the centre and a dining area through an arch to the left. The decor is a cream and toffee wood panel look, except for the dining area that appeared to be a light brown and toffee, if that isnt the same thing! There were lots of TVs showing a range from US footy to Corrie. The walls were a bit bare, apart from the few arty pictures down by the dining area. The service was fine, the clientele a couple of youngish lads that walked in and the background music, charty kid stuff.

Beer; all tap stuff, no MILD, no real ale. 'We have John Smiths', the lad said elatedly to my enquiry about MILD, or real ale.

Not really aimed for the likes of me, it is for the younger folk of Shifnal.

Old pebble dashed building that is completely at odds with the newly refurbished interior which looks more like a wine bar. Sadly it’s a lager emporium, you would have thought that they would have tried a cask ale as almost everywhere else in Shifnal sells cask, so there’s obviously a market for it. Large TV screen in the area to the left of the entrance, so it’s good for watching the football, also has a pool table to the right. This is Shifnal’s kiddies playground, DJ on Friday/Saturday plus karaoke on Sunday. If you like the ponytail, tracksuit bottoms and trainers look a la Vicky Pollard then this is the place for you, if not then avoid like the plague.
