Large roadhouse in a Victorian-looking building, however the interior has been heavily refurbished with modern fittings and décor to something just above the family restaurant level. The front area retains more of a pub atmosphere, with a pool table in a side room, while the rear contains a large dining area. Some tables are outside to the front with a large car park behind. Sadly the four handpumps only promised IPA and Abbot, but even this was illusory as both were "settling". Bright clean and modern, but lacking in atmosphere.
