Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bridge Inn

Very plain looking exterior; all white paint with just some bold black lettering for the signage. From the dull external appearance - not helped by the construction work going on in the adjacent building - one might expect a fairly old-fashioned 'spit and sawdust' country tavern, so the bright modern interior comes as a major surprise. The layout comprises a smallish bar with separate dining rooms on either side and a small back room with a little more seating; all thoroughly refurbished with light timber and paintwork. The menu is far from cheap, but the quality of our lunch-time 'lite bites' was excellent. 6X, Ringwood Best Bitter and Summer Lightning available from the three handpumps. Overall, however, the inn's best feature is the large beer garden beside the river on the other side of the road which must be a fine spot in the summer, overlooking the attractive bridge (two different views of which are shown on each side of the pub sign).

E TA left this review about The Bridge Inn

A busy village pub in a prime location on the banks of the River Avon. It serves first class restaurant food from a rather odd, but modern and efficient kitchen annex. The food is a little pricey but nonetheless good value because of its quality. The beer is well kept and served at the right temperature. I had a 6X this weekend and it was in good condition and most enjoyable - I have had worse pints here in the past, but never undrinkable, and the overall experience makes it worth a visit anyway. Well worth finding for a good evening out, but it can get busy at weekends, so patience is needed if you order late. It's worth waiting for though, and if you want fast-food, this isn't the place.
