Steve C left this review about The Three Colts Ale House
This is a good pub with decent staff and lively yet polite regulars. It has an over 23’s policy, unless with a parent, and no children are allowed in the actual bar area.
The drinks selection is not the most imaginative with Bombardier and Greene King IPA being the ales of choice alongside a standard draught selection. That said, my pint of Bombardier was very nice and I was served promptly even though the pub was busy with the Lions match which was being shown on Sky on the three screens in the pub.
The front of the pub is quite cramped as the bar protrudes quite close to the front wall, but a short shimmy to the left will afford more drinking space. There is a sunken games room at the rear that has a pool table and a dart board which are overlooked by a big projector screen. There is also a beer garden out the back which was hosting a BBQ whilst I was there.
I really liked this pub and I would have no hesitation in returning.
