The Severn Gorge is a relatively thin, but very long L-shaped Marston’s family centric pub and eatery that was raking in the grey pound when I visited not long after midday on a recent midweek afternoon. Split level seating runs around the exterior walls opposite the central L-shaped bar counter that turns into a carvery to the left. Standard and premium keg are supported, as are two banks of three hand pumps were drawing Pedigree, Wychwood’s Hobgoblin and Banks’ Bitter. The Director’s was ‘coming soon’. Meal deals are available throughout the week, such as a burger and a pint for £11.25 all day Tuesdays. The service was polite, but toy grab machines, muzak, bland décor and a carvery are things I hate in a pub so I’ll not be returning.

Large Bankss pub on Telford Town Centre ring road , not been here very long but already tatty , very busy on Sunday lunch , its very food orientated (carvery) its one big L shaped room with alounge/bar area giving way to a dining area . Beer usual Bankss fare and not that good , staff disintrested . Only worth a visit if you dont like JDW

Last night they had both handpumps on the go serving Pedigree and Jennings Cocker Hoop. The Jennings was OK. The main problem was that they simply didn't have enough staff on. The one lad who was serving was rushed off his feet and there were 5 waiting to be served. When he tried to get some help it didn't arrive. Poor customer service guys, get it sorted. It's a pretty nondescript estate style pub with a large carvey restaurant to the left and lots of other seating to the right also set up for food. It's pretty poor all round really.

Large food based pub facing Telford's main Police station. They do a carvery for £3.99 midweek. I haven't tried the food but at £3.99, how can you get stung!!! The only real ale on was Pedigree which was passable. I can't remember how long quiz machines have been in pubs but the one in here was last upgraded in Roman times.
