Very smart lounge bar in Derby’s central square. Has some fantastic seats carved out of old tree stumps, I suspect they cost a fortune. The rest of the inside is on two levels and is all very classy, the beer and wine prices reflect this as a pint of Becks Vier and a glass of red wine was £7.30. There was no real stuff on the bar but as some of the food contained Derby brewery beers I found that a bit strange. We didn’t eat here but the food looked very good. A sharer for two, full rack of ribs, buffalo chicken wings onion rings and chips was £9.95 and the portions were massive. There’s also a large outside area overlooking the market place. It’s a smart place.
