Odd experience here.

Not overly busy but felt the management were totally out of control. Problems with the card machine on entry. I went out with the menu, made a selection, came back in to order and the same problems being had with the same punter.

One member of staff on - seemingly getting out of control with who should be served next. I made sure that the very rude farmer who pusjed in and plonked his glass on the bar did not get served before who was next - which was me.

So order placed - in cash. I had my doubt we would ever see the food. And I was half right - a ploughmans and a ham sandwich took 45 minutes - and despite answering the waitresses question of what we had order three times - was offered three different meals - including cheese sandwiches and double ploughmans.

It was that frustrating that I felt like going in the kitchen and making it myself.

Still - the beer - Donnington SBA - was excellent and the ploughmans - ate whilst we waited for the highly complex dish of a ham sandwich - was decent.

Not sure I would come back. Too much stress.

The New Inn is a nice looking pub in a nice village.
The front door was open to this pub but i could'nt get in this way so i used the side entrance, once inside there was a decent sized room that had a stone floor and there was also another small room to the right this had a pool table in it.
This pub is a Donnington tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Donnington BB and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Donnington SBA.
I quite liked this pub and there was also ACDC playing on the juke box ime not really in to them but it was a lot better than most music you hear in pubs these days.
This pub is well worth a visit.
