From the Harrods website: The Gentleman’s Lounge is located in the oldest part of the Harrods – the area that was formerly The Green Man Pub. In fact, the pub was originally known as ‘The Gentleman’s Lounge’ and was frequented by some of London’s most fashionable gentlemen who would spend long afternoons smoking cigars and discussing the politics of the day. We have worked with English Heritage and interior architects Callison to create a new space that retains the original features and ‘old-school’ club atmosphere of the former lounge, bringing a fresh, modern edge befitting of well groomed gentlemen. From rare reserve whiskies to vintage Champagnes and specialised beers and spirits, the bar at The Gentleman’s Lounge will offer a drink for every taste and occasion. The ideal pit-stop for a lazy afternoon, a full range of beverages will be provided at the bar, from freshly ground coffee to virgin cocktails and gin on the rocks.

Nick Davies left this review about The Green Man (Harrods)

Haven't been in here for a while so called in for a swift half. It took me a while to figure out what it reminded me of: it's the sort of genuine Olde English Inn you only find in the USA, all wood panelling and fitted out in a sort of cod-baronial way but, given it isn't in the USA, remarkably pleasant all the same. Mainly waitress service of course, indeed I doubt the vast majority of the clientele or any of the staff are aware of any other way, so I got a rather pained reaction when I went up to the bar.

There's a surprisingly good range of beers to choose from, Pride and Fuller's current Summer offering, plus even more surprisingly Hogsback Tea, as well as a big choice of bottles. But don't forget where you are. All draught beers are an astonishing £6 a pint.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Green Man (Harrods)

Even knowing (having done my internet research beforehand) that it was going to cost me £4.50 for a London Pride, it was still quite hard to hand over so much cash for a pint. However, given that the place is a complete fake, it was a surprisingly pleasant place to spend a bit of time removed from the shopping hell upstairs. The beer was OK too.
