This was the better of the 2 pubs we visited in the village of Much Marcle. Unlike the nearby Walwyn Arms, this one is independently run and whilst there are a few of the Weston's cider range on keg, there was no real cider as such. Nevertheless, they did have Butty Bach & The Hopfather on. I should really have availed myself of the latter, but I was driving.

Most of the other customers appeared to be in for the food. But service at the bar was friendly and we were welcomed despite only being there for a drink.

Two roomed pub over looked by the giant stainless steel silos of Westons Cider that tower over the hill behind the pub where the Landslide the pub is named after occured .
Pretty traditional main bar and a resturant area .
Usual kegs and a couple of real ales from Buttcombe and Otter , you can guess where the real cider comes from !
