Steve C left this review about Blue Check

This is a café bar that was heaving on Thursday evening as there was an event on at Wembley and I caught the music goers just before they all upped sticks and made their way down the road. There was a good atmosphere and the staff were all in good spirits even though they were being worked hard. Even though it was two deep at the bar I had to wait for less than a minute for what was a very nice pint of Guinness.

The bar is located on the right hand side and most of the seating is geared towards dining as this is a café after all, although there are some sofas by the front windows which look like they open out in the summer. The walls are lined with mirrors so as to give the place a much bigger feel and I counted three flat screen TVs which were all showing the 20/20 cricket on Sky Sports. There is also some café style seating at the front of the pub under an awning which was pulled down to shade the smokers from the sun.

There are some interesting things on the menu, but the main dishes seemed to be pizza and pasta. This place advertises itself as a place to grab a meal before heading to Wembley Stadium and looking at the crowds they seem to be doing a good job.

This place cannot be compared in any way to a traditional pub, but I liked it in here and will pop back in next time I’m passing when hungry.
