A huge multi roomed pub, low beamed ceilings , wooden floors and sensible height seating. Five handpumps in the main bar room, Fullers Olivers Island, Crafty Brewing Crafty One Pale and Hogs Back TEA were the Choices on my visit. It's decent.

The CROWN INN: I'm really surprised no-one has reviewed this fine hostelry for nearly 6 years...!! :o[ Do the good folk of Chiddingfold not have lap-tops, or iPads..? Or perhaps they have eye-pads, or tablets of a medicinal kind..! For this surely is a nice, olde-worldy pub of character and some note. Beautiful location, right on Chiddingfold Green, where every November they build the biggest bonfire I have ever laid eyes on! (It takes about 3 weeks to build it! It's an absolute monster of a bonfire!) :o) And this is a 'monster' of a pub, one to certainly visit if you're ever down the Surrey/Sussex boarder. Excellent pub! Tally-ho :o) TJ

This is a delightful looking old pub right opposite the village green. There's a good lounge area where you can eat a bar snack or drink, with a real log fire which was kept well stoked. Plus a nice looking panelled restaurant and a proper pub bar area with a couple of screens showing sport and a darts board.
Pretty much something for everyone, plus the staff were very friendly, it's a great 600 year old pub with bags of character and the food was very nice too.
