Called in recently and a lot of the lounge area has been converted to dining. They will still let you in for a drink but it's hard to get a seat or even a reasonable bit of standing room now.

This is a large ground floor bar with a Thai restaurant on the floor above. It’s not just a pre/post dining bar either. It’s a well appointed lounge bar with very varied seating. You can sit at a dining table, relax in a leather chair or even sit on the floor mats and cushions in one raised area. As might be expected the décor is very Thai oriented with statues of various deities etc on the window sills. No real ale of course, only fairly standard lagers but it is a nice place for a drink to soak in the lively but laid back ambience.
